ABOUT KEK MOM
Kek Mama is the 360 degrees glossy magazine brand for mothers. We focus on women with children from 0 to 12 years old. The magazine appears 16 times a year (12 regular editions and 4 specials) and is the moment for yourself: with honest stories, personal interviews and recognizable columns. The successful website KekMama.nl attracts more than 2.5 million unique visitors per month. In addition, we make recognizable podcasts and videos for Kek Mama TV and we serve a large community on our social channels.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING
You are at the head of a committed team of designers with whom you deliver a top product every month. You put down Kek Mama’s design and visual language in great detail on all Kek Mama platforms. Together with the team you are responsible for the restyling of Kek Mama in 2023. You make mood boards, color palettes and are present at cover shoots. You do everything you can to firmly establish the Kek Mama brand feeling and take the covers off the shelves to pop.
WHO ARE YOU:
` You can enthusiastically manage and creatively inspire the (freelance) team of designers
` You have a brand vision and know how to translate that into design and communicate it to the team
` You are aware of the latest developments and trends in the field of design
` You are proactive, stress-resistant, flexible and assertive
` You work systematically, divide the work efficiently, prioritize and improve work processes
` You think cross-media
` You always go for top quality and have relevant knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop, illustrator and Excel
` Experience with After Effects is an advantage
` You have a completed HBO education, preferably in the direction of design
` You have at least seven years of work experience in the field of commercial graphic design or three years of experience and demonstrable experience in making magazines.
WHAT DOES FAMILYBLEND OFFER YOU:
