Do you hate being called? With this iPhone trick you have an escape

Do you also find it annoying when you get a call from an annoying ex? Or do you think calling with your iPhone is no longer of this time anyway? Just pushing it away isn’t neat either, but with this iPhone trick you have a (neat) escape!

Read on after the ad.

iPhone trick to get rid of awkward conversations

Maybe you know it: you’re just sitting comfortably on the couch, you get a call from a difficult ex or a friend who wants to chat with you just a little too long. No sense at all! In fact, you don’t want people to call you on your iPhone at all. Just ending the conversation is of course not neat. With the iPhone trick you at least have an escape.

The trick does not work for all ways that you can be called. If someone calls you in the normal way, you should not use this trick. It then looks like you are pushing someone away in the normal way. You can use this iPhone trick with:

  • Audio calls via WhatsApp;
  • Phone calls via FaceBook;
  • FaceTime audio;
  • Telegram conversations;
  • and more.

Stop calling: Airplane mode on iPhone

Are you being called (for example via WhatsApp) by someone you don’t really have time for, but you don’t want to just push the person away? Then follow the steps below.

  • During the conversation, open the control panel by swiping down in the top right corner (on an iPhone with a home button, you open the control panel by swiping from the bottom up);
  • Tap the “Airplane Mode” icon;
  • The call is ended and your conversation partner is notified that the call has failed.

Ending a call in this way makes it seem like there’s a problem with your phone connection. Do you want to make it sound completely credible? Then you have to drop your voice every now and then before you turn on airplane mode. It also helps to swipe your finger over the microphone so that the sound is distorted.

After finishing the call, wait another five minutes before turning airplane mode off again. If you immediately turn on airplane mode on the iPhone, there is a chance that your ex-interlocutor will immediately call you again.
