Upcoming horror game gives genre a new twist
An upcoming survival horror game is getting a lot of attention in advance thanks to its original concept: In Pacific Drive you have to fight for your survival like in other representatives of the genre, but you are primarily on the road in your battle-tested station wagon.

Most survival games force you to trudge through a hostile environment on foot. The upcoming adventure Pacific Drive tweaks this principle and lets you instead with a rickety station wagon on the search for spare parts and clues go – an interesting twist that looks pretty exciting in the new gameplay trailer.
Pacific Drive: Survival Hope on Steam and PS5
In the survival adventure Pacific Drive, you will drive your car deeper and deeper into the mysterious Olympic Exclusion Zone – a terrifying area where things are clearly not right. You can from your garage plan your expeditions into the danger zone and upgrade and repair your car. Then, as you venture into the area, you must contend with supernatural threats intent on preventing you from uncovering the location’s mysteries.

Pacific Drive does not yet have a fixed release date, but is scheduled to be released in 2023. The developers are aiming at Ironwood Studios a release for the PS5 and the PC at. On Steam you can the survival game is already on your wish list set.
New insider tip for survival horror fans
With its vehicle-centric survival gameplay, Pacific Drive is already reminiscent of another insider tip of the genre before the release, which attracted attention at the end of 2022. Choo-Choo Charles, a game in which you have to escape from a terrifying spider locomotive named Charles in an old train. With a very positive rating on Steam with over 9,000 votes cast Choo-Choo Charles has shown how survival horror on wheels can succeed – hopefully Pacific Drive can follow suit. (Source. Steam)
