Ubisoft is preparing a new multiplayer crossover from Tom Clancy -apkrig

Something escaped Ubisoft again. This time, images of the title codenamed BattleCat are circulating on the Internet. It is a new first person multiplayer PvP event set in the world of Tom Clancy, which combines the series Splinter Cell, The Division and Ghost Recon.

During E3, the novelty will not appear

The user with the nickname was the first to publish the pictures on his Twitter Zer0Bytes_. They probably come from internal materials and according to the Video Games Chronicle magazine, the documents are authentic. The game is supposed to be in the early stages of development and is supposedly aimed at PCs and consoles. And most interestingly, this is not an escape of something we will see during E3. At least the public should not know about the title at the Ubisoft Forward event. Maybe he will present himself only to a narrower circle of professionals.

The game will feature characters from the named titles and each will have its own unique abilities. There should be at least two modes – Escort and Ringleader. It is probably not even necessary to explain the content of the first one, the second one will be about collecting rings from fallen enemies.

Fans are connecting the novelty with the mobile game Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad. It was released last year and this free-to-play title also combines heroes and villains from various games according to Tom Clancy. Ubisoft’s recent ambition to release more big free-to-play games according to its most valuable brands is also mentioned. This is how the company introduced the free-to-play spin-off The Division with the subtitle Heartland. The question also arises as to whether, in the end, Rainbow Six Quarantine will not end up as an F2P game instead of the classic premium with full price…

The Ubisoft Forward event falls on Saturday 12 June from 9 pm. I can only add that it is quite remarkable that the publisher stubbornly refuses to give fans what they want – namely the new Splinter Cell – while constantly trying various spin-offs and crossovers. It’s not up to me to judge, but in my own interest, Ubisoft should show the actual sequel to Sam Fisher’s series for the upcoming event, otherwise the players will be really disappointed.
