Do you like to go for a run (hard)? Then the two new smartwatches from Polar can help you even better. Meet the Polar Pacer and the Pacer Pro.

Smartwatches for runners

Polar is a well-known name in the providers of smartwatches for athletes. For novice and experienced runners, the brand has now released the Polar Pacer and the Polar Pacer Pro in the Netherlands. The price of the first model is 199 euros; for the Pro model you pay 299 euros.

The Polar Pacer is intended for those who are novice runner, while the Pacer Pro is intended for the more experienced runner. There is a difference in the options offered by the sports watches. At both you will find a training schedule that you can use, just like a heart rate monitor and you can do a walking test with which you can set basic values.

With the Pacer Pro we find some extras. For example, it offers route guidance, along with an altimeter that comes in handy for hills and mountains. You can set multiple running profiles, which can be useful for nature or in the city. In addition, a clear, energy-efficient Memory-In-Pixel screen has been chosen. This should reflect much less according to Polar.
