Truckmeister officially released: Flitsmeister for the truck driver

Flitsmeister has released a special app, especially for the truck driver. The app is aptly named Truckmeister and is now officially released. The application should come in handy for the drivers of the truck.

The Dutch motorist is already quite familiar with Flitsmeister. One of the most popular apps in the Netherlands is an indispensable part of everyday life for many. Flitsmeister released the Truckmeister app in the Google Play Store some time ago and now it has really been launched, where all functions from the app can be used. The application is specially tailored to truck drivers, and is equipped with useful additions and functions.

Truckmeister warns of accidents, stationary vehicles, traffic jams, speed cameras and work activities. Other traffic reports are also shown and you are aware of the applicable speed for the truck. When setting up the app, there is the option to select the vehicle type, such as rigid, tractor and trailer, LHV, a combination or something else. In addition, you can use Truckmeister to find safe parking locations where you can park the truck. You also see the facilities that are there. Navigation is also possible and you can add measurements and the weight of the vehicle.

From Truckmeister you can share a ride with the client. Here you have the option to add a reference code. This allows the order follower to follow the driver live and also leave a message. These are read aloud, so that the attention does not have to go off the road. Thanks to support for smart traffic lights, it should be possible to prioritize some lights, so that emissions are saved.
