Travel app Polarsteps brings useful guides to discover destinations
With Polarsteps you can keep a (digital) travel diary full of possibilities. The functions in the travel app are now further expanded with the latest version. With Polarsteps Guides you can discover new locations and destinations.
Polarsteps Guides
A new feature is waiting for you in the Polarsteps app. This application has been in my list of most favorite travel apps for years. With the new ‘Guides’ option you can get inspiration for discovering new destinations. According to Polarsteps, the feature is best described as a travel guide, featuring the best the world has to offer. The content is selected by experienced travel editors with help from Polarsteps travelers. Today the first 60 guides will be made available in the Netherlands, Germany and France. The English speaking guides for the time being can be used free of charge.
On the world map you can see the markings of the Guides. Then you get more information in the form of stories, with more information about the destination. The best sights, most beautiful spots, best restaurants and picturesque villages; it can all be found in the Polarsteps Guides. Information about this comes from various sources, such as from Foursquare. You can save a place for later. In the future, the developers want to have the Guides available worldwide, in multiple languages.
