Top up and check O2 credit – this is how it works

o2: How can I check my credit balance?
Most mobile phone providers will show you your credit when you enter the key code * 101 # calling. For the tariffs “O2 free ticket S / M / L” you use the key code instead * 105 #. Then tap on that Handset iconto send the code.
The Validity period You ask about your credit with the free speed dial * 102 # from.
Via speed dial:
Gets the free speed dial 5667 to check your balance.
Via app:
Open the “My O²” app on your mobile phone. There you can see your current balance.
Online on the PC:
Opens the “My o2” area on the o2 website. Log in with your customer data, if necessary.
If you have any questions or problems, it’s best to contact them o2 hotline.
o2: How can I add credit?
By credit receipt:
In most supermarkets, post offices, drugstores and petrol stations, you can buy an O2 voucher worth 15, 20 or 30 euros at the cash register. You will find a 16-digit code on the receipt, which you can type into your mobile phone using a key code. Scheme: * 103 #1234567890123456#.
Why pay like that? If you pay the receipt with cash, the payment is anonymous.
Via app:
Download the “My o2” app (Android | iPhone). Tap in the app on “Credit“. If you have already issued a direct debit mandate to o2, you can use “Top up credit – made easy“Top up your credit. Otherwise, tap on “Set up now“And follow the instructions on the screen.
Via the o2 website:
Open the website https://www.o2online.de/mein-o2/ and click on “Bills and credits“. Log in with your account details if necessary. Then you can top up your account here.
By Bank transfer:
Sends an SMS with the content “Bank“To the speed dial 56656 (free of charge from within Germany). You will receive an SMS with a Bank details as well as one Usage. Transfer the desired amount to the bank account and state the purpose from the SMS. The money will be credited within a few days. By the way: bank details and intended use always remain the same. If necessary, you can also set up a standing order with the bank details and the purpose, for example if you would like to have a certain credit credited every month.
With automatic top-up:
For this you have to give o2 a direct debit mandate and deposit your bank details. Whenever your credit drops below a certain limit, new credit is automatically debited from your bank account and credited to your mobile phone credit.
- To do this, open the “My o2” app (Android | iPhone). Tap on “Credit“. In the area “Top up credit – made easy“You tap on”Set up now“To store your bank details. Then you tap on “Credit“To stop your top-ups.
- Alternatively open the website https://www.o2online.de/mein-o2/ and click on “Bills and credits“. Log in and save your bank details in order to activate the automatic top-up.
With both methods you can have your credit topped up monthly, once or when you drop below a certain credit limit. You can also have your tariff fees debited directly from your bank account.
