The graphics card crisis is slowly ebbing away, but it is far from over. AMD and Nvidia are still unable to cope with the demand. Does this affect the current GPU top 10? We’ll tell you!

Processor, mainboard, RAM, housing, power supply, SSDs/HDDs and last but not least the graphics card – the gaming PC is done. If you put your own computer together, you should make sure that all components harmonize well with each other and ideally do not slow each other down. In most cases, the largest part of the budget goes into the purchase of the right graphics card – and rightly so!

But which graphics cards are particularly popular with Germans? Are they cheap entry-level and mid-range models? Or are most PC gamers looking for high-end graphics cards? Our list gives you an idea!

Note: The following order is based on the skinny price comparison and is subject to change.

It starts with a powerful entry-level graphics card from the Radeon 6000 series, the Radeon RX 6500 XT Fighters with AMD FidelityFX to improve performance. This is available from various providers, as it is of no interest for mining, currently, among other things, from Kaufland for 314.59 euros.

After these and many other tickets have been sold out almost continuously over the last few months, they are finally back in stock – albeit mostly in small numbers. This is about the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Tia slightly slimmed down version of the RTX 3090.

However, the purchase is not cheap at all. A proud 1,937 euros are currently due for the Nvidia flagship among the graphics cards.

The 8th place ends up MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming Z Trio 10G LH, which is characterized by an even higher boost clock. The graphics card is currently being traded for a whopping 1,369 euros. Occasionally there are offers on eBay, but these are only conditionally cheaper and quickly sold out.

7th place goes to the slightly smaller brother. the MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Ventus 3X 8G OC offers real-time ray tracing and is overclockable (boost +30 MHz). Price point: 1,049 euros.

In somewhat more affordable realms we move with number 6, the XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600, which, thanks to its compact design, is particularly suitable for PC gamers with a small case. In terms of performance, it is on a similar level to the RTX 2070. Currently available for 499 euros.

Now available again and reduced: the MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 3X 8G OC. The graphics card monster currently costs 999 euros, but it also offers a powerful triple fan cooling system and compared to the RTX 2070 series, the computing speed of the rasterization optics and the ray tracing performance have been significantly increased again.

The fourth place secures itself MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming. Launched in 2021, this mid-range graphics card impresses with a graphics memory of 12 GB. The RRP is 849 euros, the model is currently being offered at a reduced price of 799 euros.

Among the top 3 ends up MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Ventus 12G OC – a very compact custom model with an extended 12 GB graphics memory, which is seen as a “gap filler” to the RTX 3050. Small graphics card, high price – the GPU is currently offered at the cheapest price for 529 euros.

The cavorts in 2nd place GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming OC, which again offers factory overclocking and offers a reasonable graphics card for the entry-level segment. Value for money is sporty, for currently only 479 euros you can strike here.

The MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X 8G – one of the newest graphics cards in our top 10 with a sufficient 8 GB of graphics memory. The new Nvidia model was officially launched on January 27, 2022 and was often completely sold out. The RRP of 279 euros is a long way off, currently 499 euros are due from the cheapest provider.
