Ticket exchange open & 40 new bands for Easter
In 2022 there was finally a return of the big festivals like Wacken. In 2023, the big metal event is of course back on the agenda of many music fans. What about the tickets for Wacken 2023 and which bands have already been announced for the line-up?
April 9 update: Just in time for Easter, the Wacken line-up will be expanded by a total of 40 new bands. These acts are new:

Update from April 05, 2023: After the big wave of bands in the Advent calendar and in mid-February, there will be a small number of other new additions to the line-up at the beginning of April. 7 bands were announced again. These are the new additions at a glance:

The bands will perform on Wasted Wednesday.
Despite or perhaps because of the Corona-related break, metal fans are hot for live music. The tickets for the Wacken Festival 2023 were within a very short time sold out. There are up to date through official channels so no more optionto buy tickets for this year’s event. Those who went away empty-handed still have the opportunity to get tickets from visitors who were unable to attend to order the official ticket exchange.
Wacken 2023 Tickets: There is still a chance here
The ticket exchange starts right after the Easter days. So from now on you can still get tickets from ticket injabers who don’t go to the festival after all.
You can also choose your luck Try the German TV lottery. As in 2022, there is also for them Wacken tickets 2023 a competitionl. 20 tickets will be raffled, which not only grant admission to the open air in 2023, but also for the next three festival years. You can draw a lot order onlinethe next raffle will take place at the end of June.
Wacken 2023: Tickets on eBay, Viagogo & Co.? Hands off!
Even if you are desperately looking for Wacken tickets for 2023, avoid hitting on ebay, classified ads and other portals. These sales channels are from the operators not allowed. You may encounter scammers or banned tickets here. There are no printed tickets for 2023, instead everything is done via digital tickets. Re-personalization is only chargeable and under certain circumstances possible.
The seller violates the Terms and Conditions of the event if Wacken tickets are sold at inflated prices. Accordingly threatened a warning, if Wacken tickets are sold at a higher price. This applies both to tickets that are offered for immediate purchase for more than the original purchase price and to auctions. Also with offers with a starting price of 1 euro there may be a warning, since an intention to make a profit can be assumed here. Tickets sold in this way can also be blocked.
You should also not order Wacken tickets from platforms such as Viagogo, Ticketbande or Ticketpool. These providers are not authorized to sell Wacken tickets. The Wacken operators show offthat tickets purchased here may be blocked.
