1. Sort photos by iPhone type

When you know approximately when you had a certain iPhone, you can see which photos you took with one of your old iPhones based on the months. However, in these iPhone tips, we will tell you an easier way to find out the photos taken with a specific iPhone.

  • Open the ‘Photos’ app.
  • Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom right (‘Search’);
  • In the text box at the top, type the name of one of your old iPhones, for example iPhone 4 or iPhone 7 Plus;
  • You’ll immediately see how many photos you’ve shot, tap “Show All” to see all the photos from that particular iPhone.

2. Quickly select email messages with two fingers

You can make selections in many apps. Think, for example, of the Mail app in which you can click on ‘Edit’ and then tap the emails one by one that you want to move or delete. Did you know there is a faster way to select an entire row of emails on your iPhone?

  • Open the Mail app;
  • Go to the mailbox that contains the messages, or tap ‘All Incoming’ to view all messages;
  • Place two fingers on the first email you want to select and drag down with both fingers;
  • All emails you swipe over are now selected, then you can choose ‘Mark’, ‘Move’ or throw them in the trash at the bottom.

3. Share multiple photos from Safari, Chrome or Firefox by dragging

Want to quickly share some photos from Safari (or any other browser) on your iPhone with your friends or family? Then there is a handy function for that. You can select multiple images and then drag them to another app to share or save them. In this last tip of the iPhone tips, we tell you exactly how to do that.

  1. Open Safari (or another browser) on your iPhone;
  2. Open the website from which you want to select the images;
  3. Hold down your finger on one of the pictures and wait a moment;
  4. Swipe your finger slightly up or down to ‘drag’ the image;
  5. With your other finger, tap the images you want to take as well;
  6. Open the app in which you want to share the pictures with your free finger and drag them there.

You can’t just share images this way. For example, it is also possible to drag multiple links on websites.
