The largest increase came between 2016 and 2017, when it doubled the number of live streams. And between 2019 and 2020, that number jumped from 45.2 million to 83. Last year’s transmission was attributed to a pandemic and the fact that anti-coronavirus measures have become a popular pastime for a larger percentage of people than usual. However, the event held this year will probably hit the ceiling of interest and only the next award will indicate whether it is still possible to climb somewhere.
