This Week’s 4 Best iPhone Apps and Games (#41

The weekend is almost over, but you still have one evening left! Don’t have anything planned yet? Then check the apps from our list. This week we have an old acquaintance for you. There is always something for you in this nice collection.

1. Tiny Wings+

The game Tiny Wings+ is secretly an old acquaintance. The game has been in the App Store for some time, but can now also be found in Apple Arcade. However, the gameplay of Tiny Wings is timeless. The game is super easy to pick up, but quite difficult to get (very) good at.

In the game you play a little bird that can only dream about flying. His wings are still too small, but the world he lives in is full of beautiful hills. You can use those hills as a kind of slide to float forward.

With good timing, the little bird glides faster and further down the hills. Are you doing well enough? Then you can go to the next level.

2. Brake Away

A small game to play in a relaxed way: that is Brake Away. It’s a game with cars and you have to make sure they don’t crash into each other. If you tap a car, it will slow down and you can avoid a crash. It is even possible to brake several cars at the same time in this way.

That sounds simple, but more and more cars are being added. Are you doing well enough? Then you earn coins. With these coins you can unlock new levels and cars.

3. Basketball Odyssey

Throw the ball into the basket, that sounds easy. However? Like basketball in real life, it’s actually not that easy at all. And this game makes it even harder as you have to control the power and angle of your shots.

You do this in much the same way as you send one of the Angry Birds at the pigs. It’s a lot less forgiving in Basketball Odyssey, though. Each world consists of ten levels. In each level you have to score to get to the next one.

By throwing the ball into the basket, you also earn the necessary coins. With these coins you rent more balls and you have an extra chance to score. That makes it a little easier, but even then you are faced with a tough challenge. For persistent!

4. Slender: The Arrival

For fans of scary games, Slender: The Arrival is a welcome addition to your games collection. Slender Man is a man in a tuxedo with a black jacket and white shirt. He has white to light gray skin without eyes, ears, nose, mouth and hair. Slender Man is best known for an internet meme that has been haunting the internet since 2009.

In the game you will search for the protagonist from the first game (Slender Man: The Eight Pages). During your quest you will get more and more clues about what happened to her and you will learn more about the mysterious Slender Man. There are quite a few violent scares in the game, so Slender: The Arrivial is not for the faint of heart!
