[Vidéo] Tuto Express: GPS Spoofing, control Android geolocation

GPS Spoofing allows your Android smartphone to believe that you are in a completely different place. With a free app and a quick tour of Developer Options, you can trick apps that are tracking you. For our demonstration, we teleported to Japan …

What is the point of GPS Spoofing? Originally, it was for app creators to test the geolocation option in their code. But for you, this possibility makes it possible in particular to be untraceable. Google or your apps will never be able to tell where you are. So you can find yourself in Moscow, New York or Cantal as easily as snapping your fingers. Of course, the process is reversible whenever you want. You can use this feature to prank your friends who can know where you are on Snapchat, or with Google Maps and WhatsApp location sharing. So you can make them believe that you are in China or at the South Pole. You can also use GPS Spoofing to test a particular app before a trip. If you want to be sure that this App that is supposed to help you on the Tokyo subway or take you by the hand on the streets of New Delhi is going to work fine, teleport there and give it a try!

A feature found in Developer Options

As is often the case for these functions which are a little out of the ordinary, it will be necessary to go into the Developer options by pressing the Build number in About the phone then go to the menu System. You will then have to go all the way down and choose Select the dummy position app. In this section, choose the application Location changer Where Fake GPS that you will have previously installed. Then simply select your location in the app to teleport at lightning speed!

Be careful, only the GPS will be “cheated”: you will of course keep your IP on the Internet. To change the two and keep a certain consistency if you want to become untraceable, you will have to opt for the Surfshark VPN which takes care of everything! We had already done an article on this new feature.
