This week’s 4 best iPhone apps and games (#37

After all the revelations from the recent Apple event, sometimes you need to take a moment to relax. That’s why we’ve put together four fun games that you really should try. Have you always wanted to work in a zoo? Or are you a huge cat fanatic? Then there is definitely something nice for you this week. These are the four best iPhone apps and games of week 37!

1. Zookeeper World

Secretly, the game is already a week older, but it’s too nice not to show. In Zookeeper World you will build your own zoo. This requires money, a lot of money. You earn money (and other things) by doing puzzles. You then have to slide three (or more) of the same figures together, in a certain number of steps. Think of the game Bejeweled, but with animals and coins.

Do you like these kinds of ‘Match 3’ games? Then you’ve got one of the better ones with Zookeeper World. The mix of building and puzzling can even be called addictive at times. 2. CuBuGo

Do you like puzzle games and Esscher’s illustrations? Then CuBuGo is right up your alley. In the game you see a kind of diorama, in which you have to guide CuBuGo (a red bar with eyes) to his hat. Sounds strange, but the game is surprisingly fun.

You rotate the world by tapping left or right on the screen. This opens up new paths to direct CuBuGo to his headgear. Of course there are also a lot of enemies walking around in the worlds, so you have to have a bit of timing.

3. Snuggle Puzzle Cat Game

As a real cat fanatic you already know this game. Nevertheless, this small game is also great fun for non-cat fans. You get several cats and the aim is to get them to fit on the rug.

The gameplay is not new and there are more games that play the same way. But by replacing the standard cubes with cats it gives the game an extra ‘cute’ factor. And of course puzzles are always fun!

4. Galactigun

Do you like music games? Then Galactigun is for you. In the game you have to shoot down spaceships and meteorites to the beat of the music. These kinds of games are often only as good as the music, and at Galactigun you have to have a taste for 80s music and synthwave.

Incidentally, the songs are not well-known music tracks, it is all original work. If you like this genre and like a challenge (the game gets really difficult on ‘hard’), then you should definitely install Galictigun.
