The first reports about the successor to the Nokia G20 are coming in. The Nokia G21 has turned up at an inspection agency, so we can find out what the device looks like. In addition, we also learn some specifications about the Nokia.

HMD Global has a successor ready for the Nokia G20, at least, preparations for the arrival of the Nokia G21 are being made. Not only has the device already appeared at the FCC inspection body, the phone has also been spotted at a Russian retailer that has already shared some specifications of the Nokia G21.

Based on the different model names, it becomes clear that the device will be released in six different variants. These are differences in the memory configurations. It still doesn’t seem to be a 5G model; that seems to be reserved for the X-series for now. It is clear that the smartphone maker will provide other specifications.

The Nokia G21 will have a 6.5-inch display with an HD+ resolution. Furthermore, Nokia has devised an octa-core processor with a computing power of 1.8GHz, although no additional details are given about this. There is 4GB of RAM and a choice of 64 or 128GB of storage, which can be expanded with a memory card of up to 512GB. The camera gets three lenses; once a 50 megapixel lens, twice a 2MP lens. On the front is an 8 megapixel front camera. The 5050 mAh battery can be charged via USB-C.

We will find out all the details later. Then we also know when we can expect the device in the Netherlands. The current Nokia G20 appeared in April of 2021.
