this is what the phone might look like
the well-known OnLeaks has published the first renders of the as yet unannounced Galaxy Z Fold 4. According to him, these are the first real images of the new high-end foldable from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are set to arrive sometime in the third quarter of this year. In the meantime, some more information about the Z Fold 4 has surfaced, but we have not yet seen images of the foldable phone. Thanks to OnLeaks, that will change today. He has published his 3D CAD renders via SmartPrix. He has also processed the 5K images into a video and the gif of this can be found below, as well as the images.
According to the source, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a 6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch OLED display on the inside. Both have a high refresh rate. We’ll probably also get to see an improved version of the camera below the screen. A welcome addition because the variant in the Galaxy Z Fold 3 did not meet expectations. Samsung has also slightly adjusted the Fold 4 in terms of dimensions. The resize has resulted in a minor change in the screen’s aspect ratio, which now looks slightly larger.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 design
The most noticeable difference from the Z Fold 3 can be found on the back. It concerns the camera module that contains three lenses and an LED flash. The camera module resembles that of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra as the lenses protrude from the housing. The front looks a lot like the Z Fold 3. It seems that Samsung has made some improvements to the hinge, as you can also read here. In addition, a double-sided fingerprint scanner and comparable camera hardware as that of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are expected. The device does get a relatively small improvement in the field of fast charging.
