This is how you prevent that infamous January dip

The Christmas dinners, New Year’s drinks and family affairs are over and those sugar rush has finally worked out in your child. Nice, you would think, but then suddenly there is that infamous January dip. Don’t worry: with these tips you can prevent it.

Go exercise

Throw those annual excuses overboard and really try to make that good intention come true. And no, don’t fly to the gym in a fit of mental derangement to purchase a subscription, but start small. With these home sports, for example. Do you find yourself in the rhythm? Then you can start thinking about a more intensive sport. From cycling and wall climbing to pole dancing or diving: there are plenty of options. And if you get energy out of it, it takes no effort to keep it up.

Plan your next vacation

If you know that in about three months you will be with your sniffer in a sunny place, you will be whistling towards those cold days. Still no idea where you’re going? These holiday destinations are great with children.

Shop on sale

This time not for your children, but nice for yourself. At the end of January there will be a discount, so be patient and wait until the last minute to get everything for next to nothing. Tip: don’t go to the store, but browse the internet. After all, that crowds (and mess) will only make your January dip worse.

Take a moment for yourself

A day in the sauna, a nice high tea (without child but with friends) or a romantic city trip with your partner: give yourself a treat. Will you become a nicer person and bet it’s February because of this?
