Google Photos now has the ability to add filters to videos in the new Effects tab. This way you can edit your videos in a creative and unique way.

When editing a video in Google Photos you will now see a new tab with no fewer than 12 different effects. These effects include Dust mix, Paper tear, B&W Film, Lomo, Light leak, Film mood, Chromatic, Fisheye, Vintage, Layouts, Retro film and Poster.

These effects make video editing more fun and easier. With just a few taps, you can add professional-looking effects to your videos without the need for extensive editing knowledge. Whether you’re looking for a vintage look, a playful retro film effect, or a creative collage layout, these new effects in Google Photos can give your videos that little bit extra.

Roadmap

  1. Open Google Photos and select a video
  2. Tap on To process
  3. Scroll to the Effects and tap an effect
  4. Tap on Save copy
  5. Finished!
