To do this, you have to choose that the picture is either your face, your car, your license plate number or your home. After that, all you have to do is enter your email address and prove via Captcha that you are not a robot. Then click on “Send”.

Make sure that the black and red box only contains parts that should actually be blurred. Because in the process, all data of the photo will be permanently deleted. This means that once you’ve asked Google to blur your house, you can’t undo it.

Once you’ve submitted your request, you’ll receive an email from Google saying that the company is reviewing your report and will be in touch once your request has been processed. During this step, you may be asked for more information about your application.

Not only Street View uses photos of streets for Google Maps. Apple also offers a corresponding one function for his maps app. iOS users can access a 360-degree panoramic view from certain locations.
