With the new function, the streaming service wants to increase account security in particular. The function was also “frequently requested” by users.

In the management of access and devices, users can see which devices last streamed via their own account. And it is also possible to log out of individual accounts with just one click.

In its report, the streaming service refers to the upcoming “hectic holidays”, during which users would watch Netflix on the go.

Logging into your own Netflix account at the hotel or friends’ is easy and intuitive, but sometimes you forget to log out again.

How to log individual devices out of your Netflix account

Of course, to get an overview of the devices stored in your account, you first have to open Netflix. You can access the new function via your internet browser, iOS and Android.

Here you can click on your profile to open the account settings. After you click on “Account”, a new page will open.

Here you will find the new function “Manage access and devices” in the Security and data protection area.

On the page you can now see all devices that have recently streamed via your account. You can also see when which profile was used and roughly where it was used.

You can use the “Log out” button to delete a device from the list that you no longer want to link to your account.

The site also gives you the ability to change your password with one click to increase your account security even further.
