This is how you adjust the iPhone text size
Apple has iPhone text size resizing built into iOS. That’s useful, because it means you don’t have to change the size of the letters in each individual app. All apps that support Apple’s ‘Dynamic Text’ will automatically adjust when you follow the steps below.
This is how you change the iPhone text size
- Open the Settings app;
- Go to ‘Screen and Brightness’;
- Tap on ‘Text Size’;
- Move the bar at the bottom to select the correct format.
Do you also want to make the text bold? Then go a step back to ‘Screen and brightness’. Slide the switch at Bold Text so that the box turns green.
All apps made by Apple itself will immediately adjust the text format. The results are variable for third-party apps. For example, Instagram has difficulty filling the screen in a logical way with larger letters, making them somewhat close together.
Apple technology is not limited to apps. HTML pages can also choose to support the feature. Very handy if you also use the internet browser of your iPhone or iPad intensively.
