Android 13 Beta 4

If we look at the schedule that Google released earlier about the rollout of Android 13, Google is well on track. In July, Beta 4 of Android 13 would be released, and that has now happened. A number of things have been addressed, and that’s a good thing, because in principle there will be no new test version after this, but the next step is the final update of Android 13.

With Android 13 Beta 4 a number of bugs have been fixed. For example, a bug has been fixed where some devices will establish a Bluetooth connection and immediately lose it again. Furthermore, the crash in the camera app in the Pixel 6 series has been addressed and the Now Playing screen should no longer hang when downloading the database. Finally, there is now also neatly Android 13, instead of Android 12 if you went looking for the Android version in the beta version.

Android 13 already brings a series of new functions. There are improvements to the Material You interface, which we first saw with Android 12. There are more icons and colors. Google also promises improvements for privacy and security. There is a new photo picker and sharer for the gallery, as well as improvements for Android 13.

The final version of Android 13 is expected to be released in the fall. Later this month, Samsung would like to roll out the beta program for the Galaxy S22 series.
