This iPhone 14 model is the biggest iPhone flop of all time
Apple introduced four iPhone 14 models in September. One of them stands out when it comes to sales figures – in a negative sense. It would be the worst-selling phone Apple has ever released.

Biggest iPhone flop
Apple has dominated the list of the most popular smartphones for years and makes great phones. But every now and then there is a less Apple one and it is more of a failure.
Take the 2013 iPhone 5c, a model often considered the biggest iPhone flop of all time. The phone was a cheaper, colorful counterpart to the iPhone 5s. The specs were fine, but it was made of plastic and the price difference to the 5s was slight. The sales figures were downright disappointing.
iPhone 14 Plus
We’ve learned from retail sources that Apple now has a phone in its lineup that sells even worse, if anything: the iPhone 14 Plus. The device replaced the disappointing iPhone mini, but appears to be a bigger commercial failure.
The poor sales of the iPhone 14 Plus are not due to the specs. The chip is fast, the OLED screen is high-quality and the camera is not inferior to its Pro brother. And no: it is not made of plastic either.
Why is the iPhone 14 Plus a flop?
The fact that the iPhone 14 Plus seems to be a worldwide flop is probably mainly due to the price. The 6.7-inch device costs 1169 euros. If you add 160 euros, you already have an iPhone 14 Pro, and it has quite a few extra functions.
For the relatively small extra charge, you have a 48-megapixel camera, A16 chip, the Dynamic Island, the macro lens and a ProMotion screen that refreshes the image faster. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus received few innovations and are almost identical to the iPhone 13 (mini).
If you prefer not to spend 1326 euros for the Pro model, you will probably find the price of the iPhone 14 Plus too high. You will then rather go for an iPhone 14 or an iPhone 13 (Pro). And so the iPhone 14 Plus has little right to exist.
