According to iPhoneSoft, at least two iPhones that have experienced the switch to iOS 14 will not make the switch to iOS 15. According to the publication, it is the iPhone 6S series and the iPhone SE from 2016. It is no surprise, the phones are already quite old. . You can therefore reasonably assume that the news is correct, even if Apple has not yet made a statement.
