Where we previously wrote about the increase in prices at ViaPlay, Disney + now also follows with a price increase. The streaming service has immediately increased prices, which is striking, since no announcement has been made about this first.
Disney+ is getting more expensive
Streaming services raise prices. We already wrote about the price increase at ViaPlay on Thursday, and now we have similar news about Disney +. The service has not issued an official message about the change in prices, so it is not entirely clear at this point what will happen to existing customers. They must be informed in advance about the new rates, so the new rates will not apply to them immediately, but we believe there is a good chance that this will happen in the future.
Since 2019 we can use Disney+ in the Netherlands. The platform appeared in our country for a monthly price of 6.99 euros, or 69.99 euros for one year. In the meantime, the price has already been increased to 8.99 euros (or 89.99 for a year). Now we see that the prices of a Disney + subscription have been increased again. When you take out Disney + now, you pay 9.99 euros per month. If you opt for an annual subscription, you pay 99.90 euros, which gives you twelve months for the price of ten.
