What sounds like a dream for many is reality for others: retirement abroad. In our weekly ranking, we show you the ten best countries to enjoy retirement.

Whether white beaches, a pleasant climate or endless days of sunshine: in 2020 we decided 248,000 German pensioners for retirement abroad. That is over 20 percent more than ten years ago. But which countries are best for enjoying retirement abroad?

What makes a country particularly pension-friendly? The investment bank Natixis also asked itself this question. In his the company has therefore compared numerous countries with each other.

The decisive criteria were: health, quality of life, material well-being and finances. In the following ranking we present the results and thus the best countries for pensions and retirement abroad.

10th place: Czech Republic

The Czech Republic comes up in the overall ranking 73 percent. The quality of life for retirees received a rating of 68 percent, while the health category has 76 percent.
