iOS 16: 3 new features to come this year

iOS 16 is of course packed with new functions and nice features that give your iPhone a major update. However, Apple has not yet made all the new features in iOS 16 available immediately. That means you’re going to get a few more cool features this year. These are the three nicest new features that iOS 16 will get this year.

1. Share iCloud Photos

The Photos app is getting a new feature. You can then share your photos with your friends and family in iOS 16 via iCloud. However, this is not the same as sharing a photo album, which you can already do on your iPhone and iPad.

In iOS 16, it will then be possible to create a new shared iCloud album with which you can share photos with up to five others. Anyone who has access to the shared album can add, edit, and delete photos. These edits are therefore immediately visible to everyone. Handy, right?

You can also use special rules to share only specific photos. Do you only want to share the photos that show you and your friend? Which can. It is also possible to only show the photos from a certain time.

2. Apple Music Classic

Apple acquired Primephonic in August 2021. This company has created an app for classical music and it now appears that Apple is in the process of launching Apple Music Classical. Unfortunately, we don’t know an exact date yet when it really will be. Please wait!

3. Battery percentage with more iPhones

Since iOS 16, many iPhones allow you to place the battery percentage at the top of the screen. It was striking that the iPhone 11 and iPhone 13 mini, among others, did not receive the option. That will soon change, because then these devices will also have the option to show the battery percentage.
