There is speculation about a postponement of the Horizon Forbidden West -apkrig
Although we do not yet know the specific launch date of Horizon Forbidden West, the developers at Guerrilla Games, along with Sony, have talked about seeing us later this year. The continuation of the story of the heroine Aloy from the original game with the subtitle Zero Dawn is a much-anticipated affair, which builds on the considerable success not only of the sales parties, but also of the player’s acceptance. Also, taking into account what the sequel looks like and how many improvements Dutch developers promise, expectations are rising sharply, according to journalist Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat magazine, resp. but his GamesBeat section will be a little disappointed for many fans in the end.
In its show Grubsnaxx, which is offered by the paid section of the GiantBomb portal, Grubb suggests that Sony is beginning to favor a possible postponement of the game until next year. Representatives of the Japanese company should inform about everything during the upcoming presentation, which is to be scheduled for September, but we must note here that last month there was talk about the presentation in July and during July for a change about the conference in August. Grubb relies on unnamed sources, with whom he undoubtedly comes into contact due to his position, but remains relatively reserved about whether the information is final and keeps the back door open this time.
“I heard, not sure, but I heard something was going to happen in September. ‘I don’t know if I want to be the one to say it, but I think the game [Horizon Forbidden West] will be postponed to 2022, “said Grubb. He added that he is not sure that the move is only being discussed at the moment, but the developers are allegedly leaning towards this variant. As for the presentation scheduled for September, it is supposed to be about, according to Grubb traditional State of Play, which will probably not be focused on a single game. According to Grubb, Sony will focus on presenting other autumn games and will be able to add annoying announcements. On the other hand, we wouldn’t be too surprised by the delay, given what PlayStation Studios President Hermen Hulst talked about less than two months ago.
On the PlayStation blog in early June, he announced the postponement of the upcoming sequel God of War, but indicated that similar problems arose around Horizon. It makes them impossible to actively record motion capture due to coronavirus pandemic measures, which is an objective hurdle and an understandable reason why games may not meet an internally set deadline.
