The best builds in Diablo 3: Season 27

In Season 27, almost all builds will receive a particularly powerful buff. The reason for this is the seasonal theme of the angel crucibles, which transform an item of your choice into a perfect, ancient item. This also grants him one of three class-specific abilities to further enhance your build. You can find out which items you should enchant and which skills best suit your build in the linked build guides.

We recommend the following builds per class:

How were the builds chosen? In fact, Diablo 3 offers a healthy selection of good builds, most of which can also survive in the endgame. As a result, you have a number of options when exploring the Great Rifts of Nephalem. Some builds can set faster best times to secure the top spots on the leaderboards.

In some cases, such as the monk with the ability surge of light, certain builds have a distinct advantage and are therefore the best choice. In other cases, however, the differences are only minor. For example, demon hunters can use the set Equipment of the Marudeur set slightly better personal bests, but also have to master a much more demanding playstyle, which is why the Set Des Schatten’s Mantle is a valid alternative.

In other cases, classes have received a completely overhauled set, such as the Necromancer with Trag’Oul’s avatar. In this case, the choice is already worthwhile, because in this way you will get to know a completely new style of play. So our recommendations are a cross section of power level, accessibility and originality.

Haedrig’s gift: The starter sets for Season 27

Completing the Seasonal Challenges will reward you with Haedrig’s Gift, which contains a full set per class. In Season 27, casters are lucky enough to be able to get the recommended endgame build set directly this way. All other classes should be able to farm the necessary items for the build of their choice without any problems thanks to Haedrig’s gift. However, since almost all sets can conquer the endgame in Season 27, there is nothing wrong with staying true to your starter set if you like the playstyle.

  • barbarian: Wrath of the Wastes
  • crusader: Roland’s legacy
  • Demon Hunter: Unholy Essence
  • Monk: Raiment of a Thousand Storms
  • Necromancer: Rathma’s bones
  • witch doctor: Infernal Attire
  • wizard: Tal Rasha’s Elements

New seasonal theme: Call of the Light

With luck and patience, you can find perfect ancient items in Diablo 3 that have maxed stats. These drops are very rare and not always useful for your build. In season 27 you will therefore receive so-called angel crucibles. These imbue an item of your choice with Celestial Power, transforming it into a perfect ancient item.

In addition, the item receives one of three class-specific powers only active in Season 27. As a result, even builds that previously had to dance in the second row can achieve absolute top form. You can find even more information about the seasonal theme in the official blog entry.
