The Sandman
Fans have been waiting for this for a long time: writer Neil Gaiman’s popular The Sandman comics are finally being made into a movie. This fantasy series is about the king of dreams. After 105 years of sleep, he wakes up to find his dream kingdom in ruins. Starring Jenna Coleman, Stephen Fry, Gwendoline Christie, Patton Oswalt and the voice of Mark Hamill.
The Sandman will be available on Netflix from August 5.
Day Shift
Jamie Foxx stars in this new Netflix film as a father who wants to earn good money to take care of his daughter. Cleaning pools isn’t enough, so he knocks back at the club he was expelled from earlier: the international community of vampire hunters.
Day Shift will be available on Netflix from August 12.
Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist
American football star Manti Te’o became known in the media because his grandmother and girlfriend died on the same day. There’s just one big problem: that girlfriend was a fictional character created by someone else. This documentary is part of Netflix’s Untold series, which shows you different kinds of stories about athletes.
Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist will be available on Netflix from August 16.
Look Both Ways
In this film, Lili Reinhart (Riverdale) plays the young Natalie, whose life paths you get to see. Think of the movie Sliding Doors with Gwyneth Paltrow, but then whether Natalie gets pregnant or not. What are the consequences for the rest of her life?

Carter
Carter promises to be a fine action movie from South Korea. The film is about a man who wakes up in the middle of a deadly pandemic. He has no more memories, but he does have a voice in his ear telling him what to do. If he doesn’t, the bomb explodes in his mouth.
