The opening dates of the first Apple Stores in India

Apple today announced that the first two Apple Stores in India will open their doors next week. It will be April 18 for the Apple Store BKC in Bombay and April 20 for the Saket store in Delhi.

“These new outlets mark a significant expansion in India that will provide new ways to browse, experience and buy Apple products, with exceptional customer service and experience”indicates the company in a statement.

The barricade for Apple Store Saket was unveiled today and features a design that takes inspiration from Delhi’s many gates, each signifying a new chapter in the city’s historic past. This colorful work of art celebrates the second Apple store in India, located right in the heart of the country’s capital. Starting April 20, customers can stop by to learn about the latest line of Apple products, find creative inspiration and get support from the team.

Also, a Today at Apple workshop called Mumbai Rising is announced. It will be available until the summer at the Apple Store BKC in Bombay. Bringing together visitors, local artists and creators, these sessions will feature hands-on activities with Apple products and services that celebrate Mumbai’s local community and culture.

As a reminder, Apple has been wanting to open its own physical stores in India for a while now. It was complicated, but the group finally got there.
