The open beta tactical action Nine to Five -apkrig starts

During the Game Awards in 2019, the tactical shooter Nine to Five was introduced by developers from the Redhill Games studio. At first glance, we were fascinated not only by the visual processing, but also by the concept, which does not pit two against each other, but three teams of three players, who in time-limited matches try to fulfill the assigned task in three consecutive phases. It may sound complicated, but whatever breaks traditional competitive multiplayer, we take all ten and we’re really looking forward to the launch. If you see it similarly, you also have the opportunity to enter the open beta on Steam at this time without waiting, which will run until February 15.

“Nine to Five is a new 3v3v3 team tactical first person shooter set in a future in which corporations rule and becoming their mercenary is just a job for you like any other,” the developers lure. They also suggest that success is not only subject to your reflexes, but also to real team play, due to the need to complete assigned tasks. As mentioned in the introduction, the whole 15-minute match consists of three innings, during which you move on one map. An example is the need to provide a satellite, which all three teams try to do in the first inning. He who succeeds – ie. eliminates the opponent – starts in the next inning at the mentioned satellite and tries to prevent it from being hacked by the second and third teams. Whoever succeeds in the second task must then defend the prototypes of the weapons to which the information from the satellite leads. However, the weapons are not in one place, which places higher demands on the defending team.

Czech footprint in the Redhill Games

Czech developer Miloš Jeřábek is also involved in the development of Nine to Five in the role of executive producer. He founded Studio Redhill Games with his Finnish colleague, whom he met while working at Remedy and worked with him briefly in Wargaming. That’s why Nine to Five is created in the land of thousands of lakes, and the purpose of the game is to appeal to those players who prefer to use their brains instead of agile reflexes.

Of course, there are more options, as well as maps, but the developers of Redhill Games intend to add gradually and mainly gather knowledge from the players themselves, so that all mistakes and shortcomings can be eliminated, including unwanted exploits destroying the overall competitive experience. There is also a detailed adjustment of the equipment and equipment of your mercenary, not only in cosmetic but also functional. The weekend bet is also linked to a competition for the best moments and situations that players in Nine to Five will encounter or cause themselves. It competes in three categories – best game, funny moment and all taste – and everyone can participate through screenshots or videos sent to Discord, Steam or social networks of the game until February 21. The winner is said to receive great price, which, however, remains shrouded in secrecy and is a question of whether highly diverse developers do not want to associate it with a joke. In any case, Nine to Five pretends to be a very interesting project that has a decent potential to appeal to properly tuned players and it is of course not excluded that we will focus on the game in the coming days.
