Microsoft OneDrive app gets new start screen and more

A new update is ready for the Microsoft OneDrive app. Microsoft’s file manager gets a new start screen and additional improvements.

OneDrive with improvements

Microsoft has made a number of improvements for the OneDrive Android app. The company’s online cloud platform gets a new homepage. This shows memories at the top, for example with photos taken by yourself a few years earlier on that day. If you use OneDrive with a work or school account, the reminders will not be shown, but you will get quick access to shared folders.

Below it is space for recent files, followed by offline files. At the bottom of the screen you will find the navigation bar with access to files, shared files, photos and your own profile.

Several new functions have also been added to the OneDrive app. You can now play videos in 8K quality from the OneDrive app. The same goes for Samsung Motion Photos, which you can now play directly via Microsoft’s app. You no longer have to download them to your device first.

Microsoft OneDrive 6.23 is now being rolled out via the Google Play Store. You can download via the button below.
