Samsung had a very interesting conference at CES 2021, which showed a number of smart home things. We could see, for example, a new robotic vacuum cleaner, which will soon appear on the market, but also a glimpse into the future. A new Samsung robot called Bot Handy has been unveiled, which helps with a lot of homework.

The new Samsung robot will be an ideal helper for the home

Samsung Bot Handy uses a whole range of sensors and cameras with which it can recognize objects. It should be such a helping hand to the household. This is a relatively tall robot in a black and white design, it also has digital eyes, with which it changes expressions. It has one hand that can be rotated at three points, just as a human hand has a shoulder, elbow and wrist. The movement is provided by a movable base, which resembles robotic vacuum cleaners. The robot can rotate to the sides as well as lift up to reach higher objects.

He should recognize a large number of objects and he should be able to recognize the material so that he can take the objects themselves with sufficient force. In the short video we can see how Samsung Bot Handy puts the dishes in the dishwasher, throws the dirty clothes in the basket, sets the table, and finally pours the owner wine.

Unfortunately, more information about this robot is not known. For example we don’t know if it’s a real product going on sale. Samsung only states that this robot is in development. However, we can imagine that in the near or distant future, similar robots will begin to appear as an improved version of robotic vacuum cleaners.
