The new chrome books will target students

At this year’s fair CES 2022 in addition to Android devices, new chromeboocks have appeared in Las Vegas. Company Acer presented by the portal TalkAndroid even a trio of models that will target mainly students.

Acer Chromebook 314 a 315

They want to attract the price mainly Acer Chromebook 314 a 315. The Chromebook 314 has a 14-inch display, while the 315 has a larger 15.6-inch panel. In business cases, FHD displays have a resolution. With a larger display and size, the Chromebook 315 has the advantage of a numeric keypad. Both models are powered by Intel Pentium Silver N6000, Celeron N4500 and N5100 processors. RAM has up to 8 GB and storage has a capacity of 64 GB or 128 GB.

The 314 and 315 Chromebooks offer up to 10 hours of use, increased durability and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. According to Acer, their OceanGlass touchpad is made from recycled plastic waste and has a glass-like texture. Chromebook 314 will go on sale in North America in June 2022 for a price starting at 265 euros. The larger Chromebook 315 will be available this month for the same price. We do not yet have information on prices and availability in Slovakia.

Acer Chromebook Spin 513

The more interesting model is definitely aluminum and more expensive Acer Chromebook Spin 513. Thanks to its smaller dimensions, it is more portable and weighs only 1.29 kg. Its 13.5-inch VertaView swivel touch screen with a resolution of 2,256 x 1,504 has an aspect ratio of 3: 2. The Spin 513 is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 1380 chipset, which supports 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB storage.

Thanks to the chipset used, this chromebook has a battery life of up to 10 hours. In contrast to cheaper models, there is also a backlit keyboard, WiFi 6 connection and DTS Audio. The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 will go on sale during June with a price starting at 530 euros.
