Official: Apple event is on September 7

We expected it, but Apple sent out the invitations last week. The next event will take place on September 7. Apple presents the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and the Apple Watch Series 8.

Apple confirms: iPadOS 16 will be released later than hoped

Earlier this month, Mark Gurman revealed of Bloomberg that Apple is considering delaying the release of iPadOS 16 until October. This is due to issues with Stage Manager, one of this year’s bigger iPad features.

Now Apple confirms that the release of iPadOS 16 will be delayed. In a statement, Apple said it has “the flexibility” to release the platform on its own schedule. Striking: no mention is made of bugs or quality problems.

‘Some Apple products only appear during the event in October’

Last week it was rumored that Apple will announce the iPhone 14 during an Apple event on September 7. However, according to Mark Gurman and his Power-On newsletter, it doesn’t stop there.

According to the analyst, a number of new products will only appear after the Apple event in October. It concerns new iPads, Macs and their new operating systems: iPadOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura.
