The iPad Pro with M2 processor would be marketed before the end of the year

The Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman was not mistaken in announcing that there would be no new iPad Pro presented during the Peek Performance keynote. This same Gurman returned to caress his crystal ball (crystal we said…) and assures us that theiPad Pro M2 will indeed be unveiled this year, almost 19 months after the launch of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro equipped with an M1 processor. The latter was presented on April 20, 2021, which means that the iPad Pro M2 (on the 2 panel sizes?) should be marketed in the waters of September.

Also according to Gurman, the new iPad Pro M2 would have wireless charging MagSafe. As for the M2 chip, it would be an 8-core processor (like the M1), but this time engraved at 4nm. The GPU part (integrated into the SoC) should benefit from 9 and/or 10 cores, compared to 7 to 8 cores on the M1 (estimated power of 2.5 tflops).
