The game from id Software -apkrig passed the Australian rating committee

A game from the developers of the id Software studio appeared in the database of the Australian rating commission yesterday. It is the unannounced “Project 2021B”, published by ZeniMax Europe, and is a cross-platform violent online game that has been awarded an M rating. However, it is not a restriction, so that mysterious project by Wolfenstein, Doom or Quak can be sold to anyone, unlike MA 15+ or R 18+ ratings. However, more than who will be able to buy the game, players are interested in what it can be about, and one of the theories seems to be quite convincing.

Before that, however, it is important to point out that already in January, “Project 2021A”, which became Doom 3: VR Edition after two months, also appeared in the same database. However, it was marked as unsaleable to young people (R 18+) due to the high level of violence and, logically, it was a title exclusive to a single platform – PSVR – which is not the case with the second project. His possible identity is then discussed on the Reseter’s portal, or on Twitter and fans seem likely to have something to do with the Quake series. For some time now, there has been talk of a remaster or reboot in connection with the upcoming 25th anniversary of the second part. What’s more, a digital QuakeCon will take place in August, where a previously unannounced project could be talked about and everything fits together at least like this, from the table.

However, there are also opinions that it may be another Doom, but not a sequel, nor anything so opulent, but a non-VR version of the aforementioned Doom 3. But then the chosen rating would not fit and the developers would probably have to make little-expected changes to they entered the rating M. We can also exclude Commander Keen, which was introduced in 2019 and the ZeniMax Online studio is working on it, so even this discovery some fans disagree with the rating. Therefore, we are also inclined to suggest that it could be a Quake and we would not be surprised by a larger collection, including several older parts. Perhaps another of a series of speculations and small video game mysteries will crack as soon as possible.
