The founder of hi!share.that uses these apps

In the “Homescreen!” series we present the homescreens of people from the social media, marketing, media and tech industries – including app recommendations and tips for everything from to-do lists to small games in between. Today: Silvia Lange, founder and CEO of hi!share.that.

My smartphone is my constant companion. I use it a lot and it has become like a personal assistant. It reminds me of appointments, I can book many things online and use it to control both my work and private communication in a fantastic way.

Nevertheless, I would sometimes wish that I could just “switch off”, whether on vacation or in the evening on the couch. But I always have the feeling that something should definitely come in with emails or that I might have forgotten something and therefore go online again quickly. Most of the time I’m on the go in apps, I also trust them.

shopping and shopping

I can think about enjoyable food and drink around the clock, I just often don’t have the time during the week to go shopping or to cook. That’s why I’m happy to live in Berlin, because if I want to cook spontaneously in the evening without having to get all the ingredients, I use Nimble (for Android) very much.

Then I order on the go and when I get home, everything is there and I can get started. At the same time, I notice that I shop more consciously if I only order exactly what is needed for one evening.

If there isn’t enough time or it’s too late to cook, I’m still happy about the option of food delivery services like Lieferando (for Android) and Wolt (for Android). Luckily I live in an area where many restaurants deliver, so this is a quick and easy alternative to cooking for me.

All events at a glance

And let’s be honest: There’s nothing like a cozy Sunday evening with a good film and a delicious Pizza Nostra. Feel-good appointments such as facials, massages and hairdressing are important to me, but most of the time I simply fail to take care of them in good time.

Treatwell (for Android) is great because I can see at a glance which spontaneous appointments are still available and book them directly via the app. And no, I don’t go to a certain hairdresser that I absolutely have to go to. I’m uncomplicated and rather practical.

Audio books, e-books and streaming

I think books are great and reading is also very important and relaxing. It brings me down and balances me, but often I don’t even manage to read a hundred pages, then I could fall asleep immediately either at home, on the train or even on the plane.

Audible (for Android) is a good additional source for me to absorb knowledge, to relax and still listen carefully. Of course, it’s also practical when you’re on the go, because you may have forgotten the book or don’t feel like lugging it around.

Also Blinkist (for Android) gives me a lot of inspiration and is also great for in between, as the most important content of well-known bestsellers is summarized in fifteen minutes. Also an absolute must-have for me: Spotify (for Android) and Shazam (for Android). I love music in all directions, it inspires me a lot and is also able to put me in all moods.

Whether I’m on the go or doing sports, music accompanies me everywhere. Spotify and Shazam not only make it easier to listen to the music you already know and love, but also to discover new cool songs. This greatly enriches your own listening experience.

Travel

I love to travel, I’ve always been a globetrotter and I think one of humanity’s greatest treasures is the diversity of people and cultures. A great wealth of experience is based on the travels that I have been able to experience so far.

Therefore, travel and hotel apps are essential for me. Most of the time I’ve been too lazy to write classic postcards when I travel, so I think it’s fantastic that it MyPostcard (for Android) are. You can digitally design your own holiday pictures as a postcard and add the text.

They are sent online, but then actually arrive in the mailbox via the post. Great idea. I use the remaining apps for communication via social media or with my team so that I can be reached by customers and employees.
