How much does the Apple cloud cost in Germany

Apple has increased the prices for its cloud storage iCloud in some European countries. But how is it in Germany? We will show you what costs you will incur for the iCloud.

The iCloud is a helpful tool for users of Apple devices. Especially if you use several devices, you can access your stored data from iPhone, iPad and MacBook alike.

But even if the memory on the iPhone or iPad is not sufficient, the iCloud can be a useful tool. As is well known, you cannot integrate additional memory into these devices via a small SD card.

Apple has now raised the prices for its cloud storage in many countries. But what about the costs for the iCloud in Germany?

What about the costs for the iCloud in Germany?

If you register with iCloud, you will initially receive 5 GB of online storage space free of charge. However, if you want to store more data in your iCloud, you have to take out a subscription.

There is a monthly fee for iCloud+ based on the amount of storage in your cloud. There are three subscription levels for iCloud. The more storage you need, the more expensive your subscription will be:

  • 50GB: 0.99 euros
  • 200GB: 2.99 euros
  • 2TB: 9.99 euros

This is how you can pay for your subscription

If you have an iCloud+ subscription, you will receive a monthly statement. Various payment options are available to you for this.

You can use these payment methods for iCloud:

  • Credit card
  • debit card
  • Apple Account Balance

However, Apple does not accept gift cards for the Apple Store here.

iCloud costs: is there also a risk of a price increase in Germany?

Now Apple has raised the prices for the iCloud in numerous countries. These include Brazil, Colombia, Peru, South Africa and Egypt.

But some (partly) European countries are also affected by the changes. Because, among other things, the costs for the iCloud have now increased in Turkey and the United Kingdom. However, neither country belongs to the euro zone.

However, Apple has not yet commented on the impact this price increase will have on Germany.
