We can classify the Nokia 6760 Slide in the ‘smartphone’ category that was launched in 2009 by Nokia. It was one of the first Nokia phones with a full QWERTY keyboard and a sliding mechanism. The device was perfect for those who were busy with messages, such as business people, but it was also a popular device among teenagers.

The Nokia was already equipped with numerous different apps for emailing and messaging. Applications already shipped on the device included Mail for Exchange, Google Talk, Windows Live and various social networks, such as MySpace. A maximum of 10 mail accounts could be set up. There was also a Maps app that you could use to search for locations. You could also navigate, but you had to purchase a paid license for this.

The Nokia 6760 Slide had a stylish design and was available in the colors black, white and red. The device featured a 2.4-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a physical QWERTY keyboard that is perfect for typing emails, messages and social media updates. The keyboard was rated as well designed, feeling firm and responsive when typing.

As for the software, the Nokia 6760 Slide ran on the Symbian S60 operating system, which was a popular operating system for Nokia smartphones at the time. The device has 128 MB of RAM and 120 MB of internal storage space. The memory could be expanded with a memory card of up to 8GB.

A disadvantage of the device that was mentioned was the absence of WiFi. Consumers could buy the Nokia 6760 Slide for an amount between 200 and 250 euros.
