The Czech Olympians tried out the classic Winter Challenge -apkrig
Czech bobsledders are already preparing for the Winter Olympics in China, but they are not only training in a real ice trough, but also on a computer. They use a “simulator” that most of my peers associate with the first steps in the world of computer games. Some sophisticated simulation cannot be talked about, not even real preparation. The bobsledders sat behind the keyboard and tried out a digital version of their discipline performed by the famous game The Games: Winter Challenge by Accolade, which most Czech players have fixed as “the Winter Olympics”. The 1991 classic is now legally available on GOG in a package with The Games: Summer Challenge from 1992. You pay less than $ 6 for it, it works on Widnows, Mac and Linux, but you can play it directly via the Internet. in a web browser thanks to the emulator.

The idea is how other athletes would probably perform in some of the available disciplines. Alpine skiing and ski jumping are still cool, but biathlon and speed skating are just for the nerves.
By the way, we broke the curse last Christmas and in the third year of our own vortexiade, we finally managed to finish the dreaded downhill in tandem.
