The CEO of the consulting agency Murakamy uses these apps

In the “Homescreen!” series we present the homescreens of people from the social media, marketing, media and tech industries – including app recommendations and tips for everything from to-do lists to small games in between. Today: Marco Alberti, CEO of the consulting agency Murakamy.

Marco-Alberti: A look at the Murakamy CEO’s smartphone

Marco Alberti: As an OKR consultant and expert in the field of vision and strategy development, I explain to my customers every day how to set the right goals and use their time as sensibly as possible.

The same applies to me and the time I spend on my smartphone. And because time in a good restaurant is meaningful time for me, the picture in the background is of a restaurant in one of my favorite places on the Atlantic in France: Le Surf.

note (for Android) is my outsourced digital memory. Here I write all my thoughts and reflections on strategies and visions. I also prepare my OKR workshops with customers here.

Asana and Hubspot for tasks and leads

A strategy without implementation does not lead to success. Asana is correspondingly important. In asana (for Android) we manage our goals and communicate about the (internal) tasks. We use Slack (for Android) deliberately not for task-related communication.

In hubspot (for Android) we document the communication with our customers so that all contact persons can check the current status at any time.

Oura and Oak for body and mind

I’m very curious and trying to figure out how to keep a rested body and relaxed mind despite a lot of things on the agenda. With oura (for Android) I measure my vital signs, especially sleep and physical activity. I find it exciting to use this for our workshops.

I can see every single pause in my heart rate recording. Ilhan Scheer from fable+ once reported in our podcast that they use such measurements in the workshop to evaluate psychological safety in teams. I find that absolutely exciting for the future of our work.

Spotify and SoundCloud for the background music

Speaking of psychological well-being: I use the app for this Oak (for Android) with which I do meditations and breathing exercises. I had no idea what effect breathing can have on stress levels.

Spotify (for Android) and SoundCloud (for Android) always provide me with the right background music for concentrated work or for relaxation. During work I like to listen to Deep Focus playlists on Spotify. To relax, I like to listen to Nils Frahm’s Habitas DJ sets or the good old ATA DJ sets. One of my favorite podcasts is Lanz und Precht.
