Smartphones are ideal for amateur photographers, but for people who want to create professional content, a decent compact camera is the ideal gift.
My personal favorite right now is the Sony ZV-1 – this incredibly user-friendly and versatile camera has been in my pocket for a few months and is perfect for people who often film alone.
Sony ZV-1
The Sony ZV-1 is a compact camera that is light, easy to transport and equipped with numerous vlogging features – this makes it the ideal gift for budding YouTubers who want a camera upgrade. The swiveling display also makes filming vlogs easier. Add to that a great microphone, great autofocus and razor-sharp 4K videos with true-to-life colors and 30 frames per second. Also on board are a function for changing the background blur and the “product showcase” feature, which is not available even on more expensive models. The only disadvantage: the 24–70 mm lens cannot be changed – but the camera is still able to deliver useful results with great image quality.

If you are looking for a camera with which you can take your content to the next level, this is it Sony A6100 a great choice – I’m not exactly a Sony fan girl, but I generally prefer Sony cameras.

In addition, the auto focus can always be perfectly positioned thanks to the touchscreen. And thanks to NFC, the recordings can be transferred in next to no time.

Rode Wireless GO
The manufacturer Rode is famous for its microphones. The Rode Wireless GO is super easy to use thanks to plug-and-play – so you can concentrate fully on your video. Thanks to the 2.4 GHz band, you don’t have to change channels and the compact (44 x 45.3 x 18.5 mm, 31 g) clip with omnidirectional microphone can be attached anywhere. The audio quality is excellent and the battery life is sufficient for most situations – if not, the microphone can also be operated via USB-C at any time.
