Telegram 7.5.0 brings widgets and automatic message deletion
With almost every Telegram update, users are provided with new functions. That is no different now, because with Telegram 7.5.0 you have the option to use widgets and to automatically delete messages. But there’s more.

A new update for the Telegram chat app is available in the Google Play Store. Users can now choose to automatically delete a message you have sent after a specified time. This is then deleted for yourself, but also for the recipient. You can choose to delete the message after 24 hours or after 7 days. When you’ve turned on the feature, you can press and hold a message and see how much time it will be deleted. If you want to use the function, you have to set it separately for each chat. It was previously possible to delete messages, but you had to start a so-called ‘secret chat’.
Widget
From now on you also have quick access to conversations thanks to the Telegram widget. You can place these widgets on the home screen and you can also adjust the format to your liking. In total you can choose from two widgets. The first is a Chat Widget that provides a preview of recent messages. With the Shortcut Widget you will only see names and profile pictures. You can choose this yourself, of course.
Another new feature that Telegram has been working on is creating a group invitation via QR code. By sharing this code, others can quickly join your group. Administrators can also create invitation links that automatically expire after a specified amount of time or use. You can also see via which link which user has registered. Groups that have passed the limit of 200,000 users can be converted into Broadcast Groups, with an unlimited number of members.
