Surfside Girls (Apple TV+): a first trailer for the series
Apple today shares the first trailer for Surfside Girls, a new series that will debut on August 19 on the streaming platform. It was first announced last December.
Surfside Girls is an adventure series starring YaYa Gosselin and Miya Cech as Sam and Jade, two best friends who set out to save their town. Sam and Jade are looking forward to spending their summer riding the waves and soaking up the rays. Until they meet a ghost. The two girls dive headfirst into a mystery involving a pirate ship and a cursed treasure that is believed to lie beneath the cliff at Danger Point, so dear to Surfside. After meeting a ghost pirate named Remi, Sam wants to help him break the curse while Jade is determined to find a scientific explanation for the existence of ghosts. To solve the mystery, Sam and Jade will have to combine their very different approaches to logic and imagination. Together, they’re determined to connect the clues, solve the mystery, and save Surfside…and maybe they’ll help a couple of pirate ghosts along the way.
Surfside Girls is intended to be a series geared towards young people, it will arrive on Apple TV+ on August 19. There is no information on the number of episodes.
