Super Mario Bros: Here is the movie trailer
As expected, Nintendo hosted a (short) Nintendo Direct today to stream the movie’s trailer Super Mario Bros.. This is the very first time that we have seen the images.
The film Super Mario Bros. was announced in September 2021 with a release date originally scheduled for December 2022, but the feature film has since been postponed to March 29, 2023 in France with a cinema release. Illumination Entertainment, the studio behind blockbuster movies like Me, ugly and mean, Minions or Sing, is making the film with Nintendo. Chris Meledandri is a producer for Illumination, along with Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic are directing, and the screenplay is by Matthew Fogel.

Based on the trailer, the French voice of Mario is Pierre Tessier, known to double Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool). We also recognize the voice of Christophe Lemoine (Cartman in South Park and Sam Gamegie in The Lord of the Rings) as Bowser, Emmanuel Garijo (Anakin Skywalker) as Toad, Donald Reignoux (Spider-Man by Andrew Garfield) as Kamek, and Frédéric Souterelle (Kratos in god of war) as King Penguin.
