Storm Radar 7.1 app gets legend and weather alerts

A new update is ready for the Buienradar app. The application that can be installed from the Google Play Store brings the app to version 7.1 with several improvements.

The Buienradar app is a handy application to see if rain is coming. The possibilities are further expanded with the new version of the Buienradar app. You can now access legends and weather alerts. We have already extensively tested one of the Dutch well-known and most used apps in our 2021 weather app test.

Legend

One of the new features in Buienradar 7.1 is the display of the legend. Legends should provide more clarity in the map. It is a frequently requested feature that can be accessed by tapping the question mark. You will then receive a clearer explanation about the amount of precipitation that is marked on the map.

Weather Alerts

In Buienradar 7.1, the weather warnings have also been added, a function that could previously be found in the app. The weather warnings with code orange or code red can be found in the ‘Today’ tab. Buienradar also promises bug fixes that have been implemented with this update.
