Energy is becoming more expensive and we are therefore diligently looking for solutions to make it cheaper, but also more sustainable. For example, there are companies in the Netherlands that develop all kinds of methods for returning heat from the house to the house (such as shower water), but there are also start-ups that ensure that we can store the energy that we extract from solar energy for example. later use. The cool thing about this start-up is that they can make their product come true through crowdfunding. It has successfully raised money by simply getting others excited about the home battery. In three months, 600 Sessy’s were ordered and, according to the people behind Charged, that was exactly the push it needed for the next step: production of its Sessy battery, a lithium-ion battery that can store 5 kWh, but which can operate in a sort of six-pack to store a total of 30 kWh.
